Curriculum

Key Stage 3 (Years 8,9 & 10)


Year 8: The department introduces new skills in Year 8 in order to develop the pupils’ ability to plan and use ICT effectively in all subject areas.

 

Year 9: ICT takes place within different subject areas.

 

Year 10: Accreditation takes place in at least four subject areas.

 

 

GCSE (Years 11 & 12)

 

 

Assignments/E-portfolios are carried out during the delivery of the appropriate syllabus.

 

GCSE ICT Qualification – 4/5 x 40 minute periods per week

 

Six Assignments for the CCEA specification are completed during the two years.
